The Rotaract Club of Whitehorse is an extremely active club in the Whitehorse area and beyond. We participate in many events and activities around Melbourne, and also run many of our own.

Giant Monopoly is our annual flagship event. The name summarises the event in a nutshell and always draws a sell-out crowd. The event is independently organised and run by our club and is much loved by people within the Rotary community, friends, and family members, many of whom have been long-time supporters of the event, which has been running since the club’s inception.

The Model United Nations Assembly provides an opportunity for secondary school students to experience a representation of the United Nations General Assembly without leaving Melbourne. Members of our club act as runners between the delegates and help to ensure that the day runs smoothly. This is often an event that our members return to each year, as it is an easy and enjoyable way to volunteer their time.

In recent years, our club has been involved with the annual International Women’s Day Breakfast, held at Box Hill Town Hall. This event is a wonderful celebration of the women in our community, and has previously had many notable speakers. Our club’s volunteers on the day are tasked with ushering, photography, and general tasks. The biggest attraction? A free breakfast to recognise their hard work!

Each Rotary district holds an annual conference, where clubs collectively come together to celebrate their achievements. The event includes numerous guest speakers, entertainment, learning, and lots of fun. Anyone is welcome to come to the conference, and it is always a fantastic opportunity to network and build connections with other people and clubs.
